Join Anna & Parisa as they guide a Community Kirtan & Sound Bath! This curated small group experience will focus on celebrating the return of spring by leaning into and revitalizing our community connections after the stillness and solitude of the winter months.
We will open with a community kirtan lead by Anna. Kirtan is a devotional practice of call and response singing/chanting sacred mantras that helps us to center ourselves, calm our minds, and deepen our connection to others. We will provide a sheet of the mantras, so you can easily follow along, and although chanting along is encouraged, it's always okay to simply listen and experience the power of the music.
Parisa will follow with a sound bath, playing healing instruments to guide you into a meditative and mindful state. We will close with tea and a group reflection.
Sound therapy and chanting can be tools to regulate your brain waves and stimulate your vagus nerve, making this a powerful experience that is nourishing for the mind, body, & soul.
This workshop is beginner-friendly & open to all! We recommend you dress in cozy layers, and it is recommended to bring a yoga mat, a blanket, a cushion/pillow, eye covering (optional), and a water bottle.
